Rice on 9/11: “I don’t think anybody could have predicted that … they would try to use an airplane as a missile, a hijacked airplane as a missile”

Bush on Katrina: “I don’t think anybody anticipated the breach of the levees”

Cheney on Iraq: “I don’t think anybody anticipated the level of violence we encountered”

I keep forgetting, though, that, even though we ("we" being the angry left) were actually 100% correct about the violence that was encountered, it was only because we hate Dubya, not because we actually know what we're talking about. At least that's what I'm told.
