Summer Music!

As Polexia said in Almost Famous, it's allllll happpppening! The summer is starting to take shape. Common's Finding Forever will be out on 7/31. I will have plenty of listening material for my first-weekend-in-August pilgrimage to Chicago for Lollapalooza! (Here's a discussion about Common's historical standing at Okayplayer...)

6/26 = Pearl Jam, Live at the Gorge
Early-July = new Pat McGee Band album...no idea what it's called
7/10 = M. Ward, Duet for Guitars #2 (official release...this has been available as an import for a while)
7/24 = Talib Kweli, Eardrum
7/24 = Flaming Lips, U.F.O.’s at the Zoo: The Legendary Concert in Oklahoma City
7/31 = Common, Finding Forever

It’s a start...and meanwhile, speaking of Lollapalooza...the lineup is out! If the festival were tomorrow (and I were planning to attend every minute), this is who I'd be seeing (subject to massive change...except the ones in bold)...as always with festivals, they overloaded Sunday...
