I don't know how to feel about this...

...but a music magazine made a Top __ list, and I actually agreed with the #1 choice. Not sure that's ever happened before (via Rolling Stone Rock Daily).

There have been thousands of good sad songs written before, and while I disagree with quite a few on this list, there is no doubt in my mind that "The Drugs Don't Work" is the saddest one.

All this talk of getting old
It's getting me down my love
Like a cat in a bag, waiting to drown
This time I'm comin' round

And I hope you're thinking of me
As you lay down on your side
Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

I know I'm on a losing streak
'as I passed down by your street
And if you want a show, just let me know
And I'll sing in your ear again

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

Baby, ooh, if heaven calls, I'm coming, too
Just like you said
You leave my life, I'm better off dead
I'm down just from typing those out...
