Climate Progress lets us know that the insurance industry may not be as prepared for the risks of global warming as it needs to be and should be more in the frontlines on this. It also calls out the National Science Teachers Association for its sellout to the energy industries' propaganda while rejecting "An Inconvenient Truth.". . . Would it shock you to know that some of the materials and extortive funding come from this guy's company? A really nice example of the disingenuous and dishonest "opinion" that leads these companies. Remember his name. We may need to search him out one day. . . . Science has an article postulating a relationship between global warming and the increased "extreme weather" in India over the last few decades. . . . Finally, the Christian Science Monitor has a very nice review of the power of conservation and what each of us can do that will actually have an impact. Then you can move on to the renewables like solar, it says. Download, laminate, and paste to your efficient refrigerator door.
