The San Fran Fed Reserve Bank pres has glommed onto the possibility that the increasing chasm between the rich and the rest of us in this country is enough of a threat to our democracy and way of life that, maybe, we should back off on some of the redistribution we've been giving to the rich and send some of it back the other way with our policies. Remember this as you digest election results tomorrow (and the weeks to come). It will be a major talking point a century from now when people describe why the US became a second-rate shell of its Legacy.
