A diagnosis for "Studio 60." Don't agree completely (where's the Sarah Paulson critique?), but pretty much right there. . . . Those awful immigrants, dumping their own and learning our language by the third generation. . . . And, if you haven't noticed them yet, the New York Review of Books has been publishing essays in small booklets for more general readership. I've read this one by Garry Wills on Bush's fringe government and this one by Moyers on our environmental future. Not a lot of laughs but worth your time, if only to support getting this material to others.
