Where do you see yourself in 30 years?

Well if you’re Briton’s Ministry of Defence, apparently in a world where the glass is way more than half empty. With advances in weapons technology, a changing world cultural, and a number of other economic and social factors, the future is not looking so bright anymore – unless you’re looking forward to:

"Information chips implanted in the brain. Electromagnetic pulse weapons. The middle classes becoming revolutionary, taking on the role of Marx's proletariat. The population of countries in the Middle East increasing by 132%, while Europe's drops as fertility falls. "Flashmobs" - groups rapidly mobilised by criminal gangs or terrorists groups."

It’s an interesting, yet frightening read. With an outlook this grim, it almost seems like it’ll be worth the wait when the machines rise against their human overlords in 2021.
