"I wanted to make sure I wasn’t just another celebrity attaching (myself) to a cause. We’re all skeptical of that. Sometimes you attach yourself and it’s more about the actor or actress than about what you’re doing," says Portman, 25. "It’s embarrassing for me to show my face and do that sort of thing."
